HOME CARE
The Society is an approved provider of Commonwealth Government funded Home Care services. The aim of Home Care services is to enable clients to remain in their own homes and retain as much independence as possible for as long as it is safe to do so.
Akooramak Home Care services offer:
- As needed, a seven days per week service between the hours of 7.00am and 6.30pm, with after-hours emergency contact services
- Assistance with daily living services such as: clinical care, wound care, assistance with medications, showering and personal hygiene, assessment for and/or provision of mobility aids and equipment, medical appointments, dressing, meals – fresh cooked daily from our accredited kitchen, laundry, housework, shopping, transport, yard maintenance and socialisation.
- Services are provided on a consumer directed basis, are customised to the clients’ needs and goals and within an agreed budget.
