I was born in Inglewood and spent much of my childhood on school holidays there with my grandma. From a young age, I loved visiting people in the nursing home and found joy in making them laugh — something that sparked my passion for working with the elderly.
I’m a mum of four and live on a farm in Deuchar with several animals. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, fishing, beach holidays and going on cruises with my family, with hopes of doing more travelling in the future.
Before joining Akooramak, I worked as a Home Care Worker for eight years. I felt my passion for making people smile could be used in a more meaningful way, which led me to study my Certificate IV in Lifestyle. I joined Akooramak in 2024 as a Lifestyle Officer and have since progressed into the role of Lifestyle Coordinator.
I enjoy a challenge and love bringing fresh ideas to the team. Resident engagement is the highlight of my day, and I’m passionate about creating meaningful, enjoyable experiences that support connection, wellbeing and happiness.
